UAW 218

Local 218 retirees meet on the Fourth Wednesday of most months. In November and December, they meet on the Second Wednesday because of the holiday schedules. The Local Union meets on the Third Sunday. All meetings at the new union hall at 100 W. Hurst Blvd near the Bell Hellicopter plant in Hurst. Brother Red Freemean is Retiree President and Pat Patterson is the Financial Secretary. Fred Milholland, the Vice President, will be happy to provide more information. Click here.

At the June 28 luncheon, a number of businesspersons came to present special offers. TARA Communications Director Gene Lantz spoke about the need to organize all Texas retirees. Over 120 people had fried chicken, fish, and a big assortment of homemade covered dishes and pastries.

One of the youngest and prettiest little waitresses in all of North Texas, Brittany Zuber, helped her grandmother set up the tables with good food for the retiree luncheon.
